There are several reasons your bridge is not successful:
- Using Wallet 1.0/Have not upgraded wallet: You will get an error message when bridging tokens in wallet 1.0. The upgrades allowed us to fix some issues with the bridging, so they no longer happen in wallet 2.0. Please follow the prompts on the Switch website to upgrade to wallet 2.0.
- Not enough ETH for transaction (gas) fees: Because bridging requires going from Layer 2 on the Switch Blockchain to Layer 1 on the Ethereum Blockchain, both SWITCH and ETH are required to complete the transaction. Please add ETH to your Reward Wallet and try your transaction again.
- Wallet Passcode Incorrect: Please verify that you are using your Wallet Passcode created when setting up your Rewards Wallet. This would have been created at the same time you received your 12-word seed phrase. Do not confuse this with the login password used when entering the Switch site.
- Attempting to use MAX button: We have identified a Beta issue that is being worked on concerning the use of the "MAX" button. If you receive an error when using this button, please manually type in the quantity of SWITCH you would like to bridge and try the transaction again.
-
Caching Issue: Clear your browser history, cache, and cookies in your browser settings then please log out of your app and log back in to try your transaction again.
If you are still experiencing issues, please contact CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
