In order to buy digital assets, you will need to add USD to your Trade Wallet. Here are some directions on how to complete this. There are a few steps required, and you do need to complete a transfer from your external bank account's website in order to send funds to your Switch Trade Wallet.
*Other forms of fiat will be converted to dUSD when funds are pushed to the Switch Trade Wallet.
- login to your account at Switch Reward Card
- Navigate to the "Assets" tab
- To add a bank account, click on the bank icon above the Total Balance.
- Add an account, the Account Name should be your Legal name on your bank account and nickname it whatever you'd like.
- Provide the billing address matching your account, then input your bank details. You can find your banks routing number on their website or by doing an internet search.
- Verify the details, and if everything checks out, you will get this message.
- Next, to get the information needed to give your external bank account, click the dropdown next to the Digital US Dollar
- Click "Deposit"
- You can either select Wire Transfer or complete an ACH transfer from your bank, the fastest way to deposit funds is using a wire transfer.
- When you click "Wire" it will pull up the information needed to give your bank to complete the wire. Click the eye icon to show your account and routing numbers.
- When you select "ACH Transfer" you will see the account and routing number details your bank will need to send the transfer to your Trade Wallet. ACH transfers are subject to bank transaction fees and may take 3-5 business days to complete. Please use the external transfer feature on your bank's website to complete the transfer.
- Deposits will show in "Pending" until the funds clear into your Trade Wallet
You may be required to verify some microdeposits in your account before you are able to complete a transfer from your bank. At this time, it does not show in the transaction history so please reach out to support and we can help you get that information.
