Switch is beginning the release of the Switch Card to customers who have previously purchased a Black Card at any time from Switch Reward Card, or purchased the Starter NFT from Connect United. We're excited to get this first version of the Switch Card into your hands — it's a bit lean on features for now, but it delivers exactly what it promises. It connects directly to your Trade Wallet, so you can sell crypto, load your card, and start spending in just a few taps.
Ready to get your Switch Black Card? Here's exactly how to order it:
For a quick video FAQ, click HERE.
- Make sure you have a Trade Wallet account, then log in at app.switchrewardcard.io. Need to create an account? Follow the steps here.
- Click the Card tab in the left-side menu.
- Click the blue Select & Pay button under the card image.
- Click Yes to confirm your selection of the Switch Black Card.
- Verify your employment details.

- You'll be given the option to set your PIN right away, but we recommend waiting until your card arrives, just in case there are any issues with delivery.
A few FAQs to help you get started:
Will the card be Switch branded?
No — this initial card is issued in partnership with our card provider, Ibanera, so it will arrive with their branding — but it's fully linked to your Switch Trade Wallet. Ibanera will include a letter with activation steps; you can disregard this letter and activate through Switch instead: once the card arrives, log into your account, click CARD in the left sidebar, then set your PIN and activate it there.
How long will it take to receive the card?
7–10 business days. If you haven't received it by day 11, please reach out to us.
Where can I see my card information?
You can view your card details, transactions, and balance in the CARD tab on the left sidebar. You can load the card from there, or directly from your Trade Wallet under your dUSD balance — whichever's more convenient.
Is Google Pay/Apple Pay supported?
Not yet. This beta card doesn't currently support digital wallets, but it's a high priority on our functionality roadmap.
What are my card limits?
You can find full details in this article on domestic Switch Card limits.
Will this be a metal card?
Not initially — this release will be our plastic card, but a metal version is still on our roadmap.
