If your Encryption Passcode is the same as your Switch Account Login Password, or common passwords you use elsewhere we recommend changing it to a unique passcode. Having a common password or re-using other passwords can give hackers an easy guess for what your passcode might be via phishing attempts, social engineering, etc. Your Encryption Passcode is setup when you setup your Rewards Wallet on the Switch Platform and received the 12 word recovery phrase. This is also sometimes referred to your Wallet Passcode.
- Once logged in to the Switch Web App, click your name in the bottom left of the screen
- Select "change passcode"
- Select "Change" next to encryption passcode.
- Type your 12-word recovery phrase from your account set up in the designated boxes.
- Type in new password, then confirm.
- Click “Reset Passcode”.
