If your Encryption Passcode matches your Switch Account Login Password or a password you use elsewhere, we recommend changing it to a unique passcode. Using a common password or reusing other passwords can make it easy for hackers to guess your password through phishing, social engineering, or other methods. Your Encryption Passcode is set up when you set up your Rewards Wallet on the Switch Platform and receive the 12-word recovery phrase. This is also sometimes called your Wallet Passcode.
- Once logged in to the Switch Web App, click your name in the bottom left of the screen
- Select "change passcode"
- Type your 12-word recovery phrase from your account set up in the designated boxes.
- Type in a new password, then confirm.
- Click “Reset Passcode”.
